New Samsung Galaxy

The wait for the next Galaxy phone is coming to an end as Samsung announced to launch a new Galaxy smartphone at an event in London on May 3rd. The company has also started sending invitations for the event with the tagline "come and meet the next Galaxy".

Though the invite does not mention the name of the device, it might be the successor to the Galaxy S2 - unofficially dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy S3. While looking at the invite it clearly indicates that the new Galaxy will offer high-resolution display.

And if the rumors are to be believed, the device is expected to come with 4.7 inch Super AMOLED Plus HD screen (1280×720 pixels)display, 12MP camera, 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and it will have the latest Android operating system i.e. Ice Cream Sandwich.
