Lava unveils XOLO X900 Powered by Intel Atom Z2460

Lava XOLO X900

Lava Mobiles in partnership with Intel today announced the world's first Intel powered handset, the Lava XOLO X900. According to Lava Co-Founder and Director Vishal Sehgal the handset will available from April 23 at a Best Buy.

XOLO X900 is powered by a 1.6GHz Atom processor with Hyper Threading technology and it runs Android 2.3, which is expected to be upgradable to the latest Android operating system that is Ice Cream Sandwich. Other feature includes a 4.03-inch high resolution (1024×600) LCD display, 400MHz Graphics Processor Unit (GPU), 8MP camera along with a 1.3MP front camera, HSPA+, and 16GB flash memory.

The company is also planing to launch some value smartphone in the price range of Rs.15,000 which will be launched later this year.
