Google owned Motorola drops lawsuit against Apple
03 Oct, 2012

In August, 2012 Google subsidiary Motorola Mobility had filed a lawsuit against Apple over seven patents which if won would ban every device manufactured by Google from iPhone to iMac. Now reports are that Motorola is taking a step back by dropping the lawsuit against Apple.
Though regarding this pull back Motorola has not release any official statement, Google said "As we have said many times before, we will continue to vigorously defend our partners". But we are guessing that Motorola Mobility has taken this move after noticing a loophole in their case.
What ever the reason behind this move one thing is confirmed that Apple can now heave a sigh of relief. We all know that these kinds of lawsuits go on for a months, maybe even for years.
